Felipe is currently Chief Regulatory Officer at Bitso, the largest crypto exchange in Latin America, where he leads the company’s communication and public affair efforts. In the past, Felipe has also overseen Bitso’s risk and cybersecurity departments. He is also part of the Mexican Blockchain Association’s board. Prior to joining Bitso, Felipe served as an advisor for North American Coordination at ProMéxico in Washington. He also worked at Interbanco, H + Hospitals, and Latin American Infrastructure. He was Coordinator of International Affairs in the Executive Office of the Governor in the State of Nuevo León. He holds a BA in Economics from the Tecnológico de Monterrey, campus Monterrey, and a Law degree from the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon. Felipe also holds a MA in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, where he was the Executive Director of the Latin American Policy Journal.
