Julia Raiskin is Head of Markets for Asia Pacific, a role she assumed in March 2022. In this capacity, she is responsible for developing and implementing product delivery strategies, leading senior regulatory relationships and establishing a strong risk management discipline across this key strategic region. She brings over 20 years of global experience across all asset classes to her seat as well as 15 years with Citi in Asia. Prior to this role, Julia was Head of Equities in Asia. She led the business to record revenues and significant gains in market share while overseeing major regulatory and restructuring projects. Since joining Citi in 2007 Julia has held a number of regional roles in Asia, including Head of Equities and Securities Services, Head of Investor Sales & Relationship Management, Head of G10 Rates Sales and Head of Fixed Income Retail Structured Products & Co-Head of ASEAN Investor Sales. Prior to that she was Head of European Corporate FX Sales for JPMorgan, where she managed a team responsible for FX coverage of European corporates across FX, EM and Commodities as well as Morgan Stanley where she was responsible for Private Side FX & Commodity Origination. She began her career as an Associate in Foreign Exchange Trading for Lehman Brothers in London. Julia holds a doctorate in Law from Oxford University where was a Rhodes Scholar, and a Bachelor’s Degree (with Highest Honors) from Harvard University.
