Yasuhiro Kubota has been the CEO for Asia & Oceania excl. East Asia and Managing Executive Officer of Mizuho Bank and Mizuho Financial Group since April and July 2021 respectively. From April 2019 to March 2021, he was the Executive Officer and General Manager for Mizuho Bank in Bangkok. Prior to that, he was a General Manager of Mizuho Bank in Mumbai from April 2016 to March 2019 and Joint General Manager of the International Coordination Department and Asia & Oceania Division from April 2013 to March 2016. Mr. Kubota joined Mizuho Financial Group in 1990. Mr. Kubota graduated from Waseda University and received a B.A. in Law in 1990. He also holds an MBA and MSc in International Finance from HEC Paris.
