Ami Firdaus is a Senior Associate in the Events and Programs team within the Milken Institute Asia Center, where he works on curation, development and execution of the Institute’s key events and programs in Asia. He also holds an additional role in managing the Philanthropy program in Asia for the Institute. Prior to joining the Milken Institute, Ami began his career in theatre and the non-profit world of venture philanthropy at Ashoka. His career has since spanned across non-profit, public and private sectors, covering more ground in areas such as urban development, consulting, social entrepreneurship as a two-time founder, and sustainability programming. He holds a BA (Hons) in Anthropology with a focus on sustainable agro-industry from Yale-NUS College, and serves on the Executive Board of the Yale-NUS Club.
