Athary Almubarak is the Chief Strategy Officer at SVC, previously she was among the early members at Jada Fund of Funds in multiple capacities. Prior to joining Jada, Athary was a consultant at McKinsey & Company where she led project teams advising major companies and government institutions in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries on their most pressing challenges with a particular focus on strategy, business technology, and organization. Earlier in her career, she worked as an associate in a private equity firm Amwal AlKhaleej.With a career spanning over seventeen years, she began her professional life as a software developer and becoming personally responsible for overseeing the full development life cycle including requirement analysis, technical design, data architecture, system programming, quality control and deployment. During her time working at the Capital Market Authority (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) she held multiple positions in the Business Technology and the Mutual Funds Departments. Athary graduated with an MBA from IESE Business school (Barcelona, Spain). Athary holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Science from King Saud University (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia), and Associates Certificates in Business Analysis and Project Management from George Washington University (Boston, USA). She obtains several credentials from Wharton Business School, Stanford Business School and Harvard Business School.
