Beryl co-founded YGG in 2020. She previously founded an asset token platform, CapchainX (acquired by SMKG:OTC:US). She was Entrepreneur in Residence at Coins.ph (acquired by GoJek), a crypto exchange and payments startup. Her experiences include backtesting fx trading algorithms at BlackRock London as a consultant and product owning an investment platform at UBX-Unionbank PH where she later served in their advisory board for its digital bank, Union Digital in 2021. She authored the Philippine Roadmap for Digital Startups for the DICT in the Philippines in 2014 and started her career in early stage Venture Capital in Shanghai in 2012. Beryl holds a Master of Finance degree from Cambridge University where she sat as President of the Cambridge University Blockchain Cryptographic Society and Secretary of the Cambridge Philippine Society. She attended Stanford University earning an International Management certificate for a quarter and earned her bachelors in International Business, Finance and Economics at Manchester University. Beryl is on a mission to fill in the gaps of financial inclusion by creating elevated experiences through web3.
