Justin has worked in Environmental Venturing, Infrastructure and Markets since 2017, and Sustainability/ESG for over 20 years across UK, Europe, Africa and Asia with a focus on the Capital Markets and the Environmental Markets specifically the interdependence between Issuers and Investors and how ESG is a determining factor in finance raising, economics and operational risk. Justin started his career in Corporate Governance Advisory with the first ever Capital Markets focused Corporate Governance Advisory Firm. Justin then worked for Institutional Investors including setting up the first ever Corporate Governance Index and moving into ESG and then Environmental Markets working with Stock Exchanges, Sell Side, Buy Side and Issuers through the mediums of FinTech, Big Data, Research and Consulting. As the European, APAC and then Global head of a global team, Justin has built businesses, teams, markets & products across numerous jurisdictions, time zones and cultures for Founder Owner/Operators and Private Equity houses starting with Al Millar and Bob Monks, through to Bain Capital, VSS, KKR, Goldman and Blackstone. Justin has spoken at events throughout Europe and Asia, including the House of Lords All Parliamentary Committee on Corporate Governance, the European Union, OECD, ICGN, ACGA, Davos, The Japanese Directors Association, Commonwealth Heads of Government and CIIC and is regularly invited to speak on Environmental Markets/ESG by Citi, Deutsche Bank, BNYM, JPM along with events at the SGX, HKEx, JSE, LSE and NYSE.
