Manraj Sekhon is the Chief Investment Officer of Templeton Global Investments and Co-CEO of Templeton Asset Management. In this capacity, he oversees over 100 investment professionals in 15 countries and the full suite of global developed and emerging markets equity strategies offered by the group, including global, regional, single-country, small cap, frontier and private equity. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2018, Mr. Sekhon served as the Chief Executive and Chief Investment Officer of Fullerton Fund Management, the asset management subsidiary of Temasek. He has some 30 years of global investment experience and has held various roles in London at Mercury Asset Management (now part of BlackRock), Invesco Asset Management and Henderson Global Investors. Mr. Sekhon previously received the ‘Best Fund Manager’ award from Professional Adviser, and the ‘Best International Fund’ award from Lipper. He was also ranked in both the Citywire Top 100 Fund Managers and the Professional Adviser Hot 100 Fund Managers. Mr. Sekhon holds a B.Sc. in Management Sciences, with honours, from the University of Warwick in the UK. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, an Associate Member of the UK Society of Investment Professionals (ASIP) and a Certified Member of the European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (CEFA).Mr. Sekhon serves as an Advisory Board member to the UK Department for International Trade for its Global Entrepreneur Program and an Advisor to the Investment Committee of the Singapore Management University (SMU).
