Meghan Morris is the deputy bureau chief for Business Insider's Singapore office. She leads the bureau's business news team and works with news and lifestyle desks. Before moving to Singapore in 2024, she worked in New York and San Francisco as a senior correspondent with Business Insider. She wrote deeply-reported business investigations, including about WeWork, Travis Kalanick's CloudKitchens, Jeffrey Epstein's finances, and a private equity-owned special education school company. In the 2022-23 academic year, she was a Knight-Bagehot Fellow at Columbia University, a prestigious mid-career fellowship for business journalists. Before the fellowship, she taught media law and ethics and investigative reporting at New York University's graduate journalism program. She holds bachelor and master's journalism degrees from Northwestern University.
