A U.S. attorney and award-winning journalist, Monica has recently focused on chronicling the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the global travel industry. She has also covered the rise in cyber warfare following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and Hong Kong’s demographic shifts resulting from its democratic restrictions and pandemic-era policies. Monica also led CNBC’s coverage of the “Best Hotels for Business Travelers,” an independently researched ranking of the top business hotels across Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. She graduated from the University of Texas School of Law and currently resides in Singapore.
