Shan Shan joined Stability AI as Chief Operating Officer in November 2023 and has been instrumental in shaping the strategic direction and operational priorities of the firm over the past year. Her current work is focused on supporting Stability AI’s leadership in defining the company’s vision, strategy, and objectives, and ensuring that the company’s operations align with this vision. She is also responsible for corporate partnerships, strategic expansion, and employee empowerment within the company. At the request of the Board of Directors, she served as Interim Co-CEO from 23 March to 25 June 2024. Shan Shan brings a wealth of expertise in finance and strategic leadership to drive innovation at Stability AI. Most recently, she led a team of product specialists deploying bespoke wealth management solutions as Head of Products for Credit Suisse’s UK Private Bank. Prior to this, she was at JP Morgan Chase and Merrill Lynch. She has also served as a Board Member of the innovative bioreactor company Cellexus and holds a Master of Arts (Oxon) in Mathematics from the University of Oxford.
