Shruti Narayan is C40's Managing Director for Regions and Mayoral Engagement as well as Regional Director for South and West Asia. With global experience spanning over two decades, she leads C40’s regional efforts to mainstream climate action for resilient and equitable cities. Before joining C40, Shruti has worked in several key global organizations such as Arup and USAID, she joined C40 from the International Finance Corporation working on municipal financing. In addition she has been a visiting faculty at several academic institutions such as Stanford University, California College of Arts and School of Planning and Architecture. She is particularly passionate about working with students and women-led groups in building a strong and supportive community of climate champions.
