Skye d’Almeida has spent the last 16 years in sustainable infrastructure and energy, working for public and private companies, governments, and non-profits. Skye is a Principal at Generate Capital, a one-stop-shop for sustainable infrastructure that builds, owns, operates and finances sustainable real assets. Skye focuses on pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and other investors interested in partnering with, or investing in, Generate's funds, co-investments and direct investments. Currently based in Los Angeles, Skye splits her time between Generate's offices in San Francisco, New York, Washington DC and London. Prior to Generate, Skye led investor coverage for the Americas at Macquarie’s Green Investment Group to find partners and buyers for renewable energy assets developed by Macquarie. Prior to Macquarie, Skye managed the sustainable infrastructure finance network at C40 Cities where she co-created the Financing Sustainable Cities Initiative with the WRI Ross Center, supporting over 80 cities around the world to scale up investment in sustainable infrastructure. Skye started her career in the Australian Government where she worked on Australia’s first emissions trading scheme and led an Australian Government partnership with the US Department of Energy on clean energy knowledge sharing. Skye holds a Master of International Finance from Deakin University and Bachelors of Business and Science from the University of Queensland.
