Tim Lindley joined VaynerMedia in 2020 as Head of Insights and Strategy for APAC when the agency had just 60 people. Now, as Managing Director since 2021, he’s grown the independent agency to over 300 strong across 12 countries. Tim is responsible for overseeing culture-defining client work, business operations, and regional growth, ensuring VaynerMedia's integrated structure keeps the consumer at the heart of everything they do. He also champions marketing excellence and fosters an empathy-driven culture. Starting at Sony Music, Tim worked with top-tier artists and served as Michael Jackson’s community manager. He launched Sony Music’s global catalog on major streaming platforms like Spotify, YouTube, and iTunes. At 25, he led Red Bull's Communications team and served on their global digital steering committee. He later spearheaded Red Bull Media House’s expansion in Asia Pacific, moving to Singapore in 2014 and playing an integral role in transforming Red Bull’s Japanese business into the 4th largest market globally. In 2017, he launched Black Sheep Studios at BBH, a specialist social media and content division, launching and scaling global social media for Nike, Samsung, and Uber. Throughout his career in agencies, Red Bull, and record labels, Tim has led teams whose work has been recognised at Campaign Asia, Clio, D&AD, Spikes, Effies, and Music Week Awards. He even holds a Guinness World Record for Red Bull Revolutions In Sound.
