She is the founder of Penrose Japan Ltd., where she advises international investment funds and professional services on navigating Japan’s market and identifying investment and business opportunities by analyzing regulatory frameworks, corporate governance practices, market trends, and growth prospects. Yuki provides actionable insights that drive informed decision-making for investors. Her book, The Common Language of the World's Top Investors, has guided Japanese companies toward adopting global standards and improving their communication with international investors. Through this work and her activities in Japan, Yuki has built a network of Japanese companies with the potential and interest to engage with global investors, laying the groundwork for future cross-border opportunities. Yuki began her career as an equity analyst at Arcus Investment in London and Macquarie Capital in Tokyo, and later served as a partner and Tokyo office representative at Indus Capital Partners, a NYC-based hedge fund. She holds a degree in Biochemistry from Somerville College, Oxford, and an MSc in Organic Chemistry from Reading University.
