
Matt Driskill has spent over 20 years serving the country, first as a Naval Flight Officer and now as an Air National Guardsman, currently on assignment with the Operational Energy-Innovation Directorate within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment. He has accrued over 2,000 flight hours in the F/A-18F and E/A-18G, flying in Operations Iraqi Freedom, Odyssey Dawn, and Enduring Freedom. In his civilian career, he is the Director of Strategic Growth for Modern Technology Solutions Inc, a defense technology solutions company. He is a Senior Advisor to the Milken Institute’s Veterans Initiative which he also helped found, a Presidential Leadership Scholar, a National Security Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations, and a board member for several non-profit institutions. His educational affiliations include an undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, and masters’ degrees from Auburn University and the Naval War College.
