Christopher Hite is a Vice Chairman of Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory and Global Head of Healthcare at Citi. He is based in New York. Hite has been at Citi for over 11 years. Prior to Citi, he was the Global Head of Healthcare at Lehman Brothers. Hite has advised hundreds of healthcare companies on everything from mergers and acquisitions to capital formation through equity and debt issuances to capital structure. Examples of recent M&A transactions where Hite advised include Celgene on its sale to Bristol-Myers Squibb for $90 billion, Shire on its sale to Takeda for $82 billion, Johnson & Johnson on its acquisition of Actelion for $30 billion, GSK on its acquisition of Novartis Consumer for $13 billion, Tesaro on its sale to GSK for $5.1 billion and Roche on its acquisition of Foundation Medicine for $5.3 billion. Hite graduated from Lehigh University in 1989 and The University of Pittsburgh with a JD/MBA in 1994.
