Semih Sen has recently joined Cleveland Clinic as Chief Business Development Officer. He is responsible in driving transformational healthcare partnerships and alliances that create value for the Cleveland Clinic, its patients, caregivers and the wider healthcare industry. He also leads Cleveland Clinic Innovations, Ventures and Partnering teams with a mandate to keep Cleveland Clinic at the forefront of healthcare discovery and innovation. Semih has built many healthcare assets as an investor, financier, asset manager and advisor. Semih was Director of Mubadala Investment Company's Healthcare Unit, responsible for development and management of assets in excess of USD 3 Billion, as well as strategy formation and implementation, acquisitions, and technical and commercial development of projects. Semih has participated in the formation of Mubadala Ventures and its first two investments in the healthcare industry. Semih also served as a Board Member of Medical Holding Company, Executive Team of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Telemedicine Centre. Semih holds a BA degree from Bogazici University in Business Administration.
