Eric Racine is Vice President & Head of U.S. Public Affairs and Patient Advocacy at Sanofi. Eric leads a team that partners with the advocacy community to improves patient access to breakthrough medicines and vaccines that can transform lives and change the practice of medicine. The team engages with the advocacy community from early research throughout the lifecycle to listen to their perspectives, understand what matters most to patients, and champion these insights internally and externally. The team engages in multiple therapeutic areas including rare diseases, rare blood disorders, oncology & transplant, diabetes, cardiovascular, neurology, immunology, as well as vaccine preventable diseases. Eric has held leadership positions in U.S. and global, spanning medical marketing, market access, healthcare policy, patient advocacy and public affairs. Prior to entering the pharmaceutical industry, Eric held various positions in clinical pharmacy in the U.S. and Canada including academic, patient care and management roles. Eric holds an MBA from Rutgers University and a Doctor of Pharmacy from Wayne State University in the U.S., and a bachelor of sciences-pharmacy from Laval University in Canada.
