Dr. Larry Wolk currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer for The Wonderful Company, overseeing health and wellness for employees and their families, primarily in California's Central Valley. Prior to joining Wonderful, he served as the Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and Chief Medical Officer for the State of Colorado under Governor John Hickenlooper. In addition, he founded the Rocky Mountain Youth Clinics, a non-profit organization providing pediatric care to tens of thousands of Colorado's most vulnerable children. Other positions and accomplishments include leading a successful State health information exchange, a national inmate healthcare organization and several managed care organizations as both regional and national chief medical officer. Dr. Wolk has received multiple honors and awards recognizing his work, including the University of Vermont's Award for Service to Medicine and Community and a Lifetime Healthcare Achievement Award from the American Red Cross. Born and raised outside of Scranton, Pennsylvania, Dr. Wolk received his bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical doctorate from the University of Vermont. He received his training in pediatrics and adolescent medicine, including his master's degree in public health, from the University of Colorado and The Colorado Children's Hospital.
