Adam leads Sanofi’s Corporate Affairs team to drive value for Sanofi and the patients we serve and has nearly 30 years of experience in the policy, advocacy, communications and healthcare industry and has spent his career primarily in Washington, D.C. Adam brings a patient-informed perspective to inform his advocacy to ensure that Sanofi’s medicines and vaccines reach the people who need it the most. Adam joined Sanofi after nine years at Biogen, during which he served as the company’s lead federal lobbyist and also designed and established Biogen’s European Public Policy organization and Patient Advocacy function.Prior Biogen, Adam was a Senior Managing Director at Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP, where he represented a diverse range of patient advocacy groups, provider organizations and corporations before the federal government. His career also includes close to 10 years on Capitol Hill, including working as senior health policy advisor to Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) and legislative director for Congressman Gene Green (D-TX). Adam was also the Senior House Legislative Liaison for the Children’s Defense Fund.
