Cynthia Hutchins

Director of Financial Gerontology, Retirement Research and Insights, Bank of America

Cynthia Hutchins is the Dir. of Financial Gerontology for Bank of America and has more than 40 years of experience in the wealth management and retirement industry. Cyndi develops thought leadership, resources, training and education, on the topics of aging, longevity, retirement, life stages and later life planning. She has authored several whitepapers on the topics of aging, longevity, caregiving, housing and caring for children with special needs. Cyndi has also partnered with academic institutions and aging industry experts to develop collaborative research and thought leadership on these topics. These organizations include the UPenn School of Nursing, the Gerontological Society of America, Georgetown University, Wharton Pension Research Council and the Global Coalition on Aging. She has been widely quoted in national publications including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Institutional Investor. Cynthia has served on the board of directors of the American Society on Aging and has participated in the White House Conference on Aging Elder Justice Forum. She holds a BS in Finance from Towson University and a MA in Gerontology from the University of Southern California.
