Diana N. Contreras MD, MPH is the Chief Health Strategy Officer at PPFA. Diana is a board-certified ob/gyn with fellowship training in gynecology oncology. She is an accomplished healthcare provider with years of experience providing patient care. She has worked at several large health systems and has held numerous administrative roles. Furthermore, she has worked collaboratively with local, regional, and state-level professionals to promote access and equity related to health care. As the Chief Health Strategy Officer at PPFA Diana focuses much of her time developing health strategy, insights, and innovative ideas. She works closely with the affiliate executive leadership as well as other public health thought leaders. She is responsible for increasing Planned Parenthood’s presence in the highly transformative and disruptive healthcare ecosystem by capitalizing on Planned Parenthood’s role as the leader in sexual and reproductive health and health equity. Diana holds an MPH in health care administration and policy from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University, an MD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
