Diane Ty

Senior Director, Future of Aging, Milken Institute

Diane Ty is the Senior Director of the Milken Institute Future of Aging, where she oversees its strategic direction and operations and leads its Alliance to Improve Dementia Care, a multi-sector collaborative of over 120 organizations and thought leaders working together to transform and improve the complex health and long-term care systems that people at risk for and those living with dementia and their caregivers must navigate. She is a senior advisor at Georgetown University’s Business for Impact at the McDonough School of Business, where she previously led multiple consulting engagements in health and financial security including founding the AgingWell Hub and Portion Balance Coalition. Ty has held executive-level positions at AARP, AARP Services, Inc., Save the Children, and American Express Company and provided consulting services in marketing, strategy, and program development to Service Year Alliance, Generations United, and Silicon Valley start-up, Super. Ty earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University. She was a Lauder Institute fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, earning an MBA from the Wharton School and an MA from the School of Arts and Sciences.
