Ellen Patterson

President and Chief Impact Officer, Corporate Impact, EverFi

As President & Chief Impact Officer at EVERFI from Blackbaud, Ellen Patterson has helped architect the underpinnings of growth, scale, and transformation through some of EVERFI's most critical moments. Previously, Ellen served as Chief Operating Officer, where she scaled the organization for a successful acquisition by Blackbaud, the leading provider of software for powering social impact. As Chief Revenue and Partnership Officer, she drove triple-digit revenue growth and attracted notable customers. Ellen's career began in education, teaching, and mentoring at-risk youth in K-12 schools across the country. She spent four years in Silicon Valley at both a digital media startup and AOL, where she held P&L responsibility for several business lines and incubated consumer products that shaped the way we interact online. Ellen serves on the Community Advisory Board for Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C, where she lives with her husband and daughters. She’s an active community member of Fortune's Most Powerful Women & founding member of the Fortune Impact Initiative. Ellen has been recognized for her leadership, including as Washingtonian Magazine's "Tech Titan" in 2023 and 2022 and a Washington Life "Innovator and Disruptor" in 2021. Ellen holds a BA in Psychology from Georgetown University, an MA in Counseling Psychology from Boston College and an MA in Teaching as a pioneering member of the University of Notre Dame's ACE program.
