Jack Mahler

Chief Investment Officer, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Jack became the first Chief Investment Officer at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) when he joined the organization in August 2016. Previously, he was Executive Vice President & Senior Managing Director at OMERS, a large Canadian pension plan based in Toronto. At OMERS, Jack managed the $11 billion Global Equities and Alternatives Programs with a team of 30 investment professionals based in Toronto, New York and London.  
Jack joined OMERS in 2009 from W.P. Stewart, a US-based investment manager, where he was Portfolio Manager and President of the firm's flagship mutual fund. Prior to that, Jack was Head of Equities at Brown Brothers Harriman and he was also previously Managing Director, Equity Research at Manning & Napier Advisors.Jack is a CFA Charterholder and he has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry & Zoology, a Doctor of Medicine and an MBA.
