Margaret leads Global Corporate Affairs, Marketing and Customer Success at GoFundMe and leads a team responsible for public policy, communications, brand and creative, product marketing, customer success and community engagement. The mission of her team is to tell the extraordinary stories of GoFundMe and its community of customers around the world and to use these stories to help more people help each other. Previously, Margaret led Trust and Safety and teams at Apple and Airbnb. Prior to leading Trust at Airbnb, she led the Airbnb Global Policy team as it scaled globally. Prior to joining the private sector, Margaret served as Chief of Staff and Counselor to Attorney General Eric Holder, Jr. in the U.S. Department of Justice. She holds a BA from the University of Virginia, a JD from U.C. Berkeley Law School and an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School. Margaret has been featured on national radio shows including Marketplace, and has offered her expertise in national news outlets including Axios, the New York Times, NBC News, Axios and Retail Brew.
