Mohit Manrao is the Senior Vice President, Head of US Oncology at AstraZeneca. In this pivotal role, he orchestrates innovative strategies to revolutionize cancer care, drive growth, and maximize performance. Additionally, as President of the AstraZeneca (HealthCare) Foundation, Mohit combines strategy with a sense of purpose, overseeing the general management and community grant programs. He is also the Executive Sponsor of AstraZeneca’s US Health Equity Initiative. Mohit is deeply committed to ensuring that everyone, irrespective of their postal code, has equal opportunity to better health outcomes. He joined AstraZeneca Japan in 2012 and held market-level, regional and global roles across geographies, overseeing oncology product lifecycles from development to commercialization, navigating unique market access issues, and demonstrating alliance leadership, including at the inception of AstraZeneca’s alliance with Daiichi Sankyo. In 2020, he was appointed Co-Chair of the Patient Centricity Steering Committee, an internal working group dedicated to embedding the patient perspective into AstraZeneca’s DNA. Before joining AstraZeneca, Mohit worked in the consumer goods sector of a multinational organization, where he oversaw international marketing, sales and business development, and expanded company operations into high-potential markets across four continents. He received his MBA from the Indian School of Business and holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Punjab Technical University in India.
