Shamiram Feinglass, MD, MPH is an accomplished physician executive who works across the business, medical and policy domains of health systems and life sciences companies globally with the goal of driving equitable access to healthcare. Currently serving as Managing Director at Manatt Health, Dr. Feinglass has served as an executive and Chief Medical Officer in large multi-national life sciences corporations (Danaher, Zimmer) where she built and scaled critical business functions. She has driven policy changes alongside senior government officials around the world to influence regulation and access to needed medicines and medical device, digital and diagnostic technologies that improve patient outcomes. A public health doctor, she was the trusted medical leader responsible for coordinating the pandemic response across 80,000 associates globally. A former regulator (CMS) and commander in the U.S. Public Health Service, Dr. Feinglass is on faculty at the John’s Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Department of Mental Health and is a member of the Board of Directors of Sandoz AG. A Smith College graduate, she earned her MD & MPH from Emory University Schools of Medicine & Public Health, was a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar, and an Aspen Health Innovators Fellow. She is a former BMX State Champion and member of the USA BMX World Championship Team and is the co-author of the book “The 60-Minute Clinician MBA” -- the essential handbook for physicians transitioning into industry and leadership.
