Usman Malami Aliyu

Director General, National Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment, Federal Republic of Nigeria

His first degree in Medicine was from Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto. He did his residency in University College Hospital Ibadan where he had a Fellowship in West African College of Surgeon (Radiation and Clinical Oncology). He then proceed to National Cancer Institute Cairo, Egypt where he got another fellowship in Clinical oncology. He then went to Max hospital India where he had a 3rd fellowship in Radiation therapy and medical oncology. He then came back home and acquired a Master degree in Public Health. Dr. Malami then went to Ramon-y-Cajal in Madrid Spain for for training in Brachythrapy for Gynaecological, Breast and Urologic malignancies. He then went to South Africa for an updated training in Mosaic and Monaco soft ware operation for LNAC.
