Aaron Seybert is Managing Director of the Social Investment Practice at The Kresge Foundation. In that role, he manages a team of eight professionals and approximately $350 million in high-impact program-related investments on behalf of the foundation. These investments range from social impact bonds, venture capital, private equity, and direct real estate investments all directed at furthering program strategies across the US. He joined the foundation in 2016. Prior to Kresge, he served as executive director at JPMorgan Chase Bank, where he managed a tax equity portfolio nationally originating more than $250 million in qualified equity investments annually. He started his career in impact investing at Cinnaire (formerly the Great Lakes Capital Fund) addressing where he managed a portfolio of affordable housing investments on behalf of bank investors, consulted with numerous housing providers, and launched several new lines of business in tax credit finance and lending. A native of Michigan, Aaron earned a bachelor's in business administration in corporate finance and accounting from Central Michigan University, a Juris doctorate from the Michigan State University College of Law, and is currently pursuing a master's in Cities from the London School of Economics.
