David has dedicated his 30 years of professional experience to shaping the technology and marketing industries through the creation, acquisitions of, and investment in up-and-coming companies, transforming them into high-growth entities. He has been Co-Founder and CEO of six different companies: two being unicorns (both of which he has taken public), three of which have been acquired in multi-million dollar deals, and one that is still private. Today, David serves as CEO of Zeta Global (NYSE: ZETA), the company he co-founded with John Sculley (former Apple CEO and Pepsi President). David leads the company with his strategic vision, industry foresight, and acumen. Zeta became public on the New York Stock Exchange in June 2021. Prior to Zeta, David founded InPhonic and served as Chairman and CEO of both Sterling Cellular and Sterling Communications. David additionally dedicates his time and expertise to advising companies. He founded the CAIVIS Investment Corporation in 2007 and currently sits on numerous Boards, including the Board of Impact, and On-Demand Pharmaceuticals, where he is Co-Founder and Executive Chairman. He also founded The David A. Steinberg Foundation to help disadvantaged children with a focus on nutrition, education, and caregiving. David holds a B.A. in Economics from Washington & Jefferson College.
