Douglas Adams is Global Co-Head of Equity Capital Markets at Citi. Doug joined Citi in 1993 and is responsible for originating, structuring, and executing IPOs, follow-on, and convertible offerings as well as equity derivative and private placement transactions across a broad range of industries. Doug sits on the Executive Committee and Operating Committee of Citi’s Banking, Capital Markets, and Advisory Division. Doug began his career in the Investment Banking Division, covering Financial Sponsors, and joined Equity Capital Markets in 1998. Over the last 25 years, Doug has raised over $800 billion for clients in over 900 book-run transactions, including over 150 IPOs raising in excess of $150 billion. Doug received an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Michigan, a Masters of Business Administration from New York University, and a Juris Doctorate from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
