Glenn Yago is a senior fellow and founder of the Financial Innovations Labs at the Milken Institute as well as senior director of the Milken Innovation Center and Blum Lab for Developing Economies at the Jerusalem Institute. The Center and Lab he oversees in Israel serves as a development finance field school providing post-graduate Fellows training in innovative finance practice to launch high-value tech solutions for global sustainable development. Yago is also a visiting professor and Dean’s Fellow at Hebrew University of Jerusalem School of Business and the University of California-Berkeley. His research contributed to policy and program innovations fostering the democratization of capital to traditionally underserved markets to finance ideas for projects by business and social entrepreneurs around the world. His research projects have been supported by the National Science Foundation, Ford Foundation, Google Foundation, Gilbert Foundation, Rothschild Foundation, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, among others. His latest book (with Franklin Allen at the imperial College London School of Business) is An Advanced Introduction to Financial Innovation (London: Edward Elgar, 2022 forthcoming).
