Jared Carney founded Lightdale, a global investment and strategic advisory firm, in 2012. The firm has many investments in dynamic growth businesses around the world. Prior to Lightdale, Carney served as Chief Strategy Officer at the Milken Institute, working closely with its Chairman, Mike Milken. During his tenure, Carney led the annual Global Conference and was instrumental in increasing the Institute's programmatic and revenue growth. He also served as a Senior Advisor to Knowledge Universe, the Milken family's private equity vehicle and Education holding company. Carney is Vice-Chairman of McKinley Capital Mgt., an international $5bn AUM multi-strategy manager based in Anchorage, AK, and the largest private investor in the state. He is also Senior Advisor to Seminal Capital’s EdTech fund. He has served on numerous corporate boards, including Microbion Corp.; Brandenburg Realty, and Secured Natural Resources. Carney continues to serve as a senior advisor to the Milken Institute and Prostate Cancer Foundation.
