Jeff Cohen is the Global Head of Leveraged and Acquisition Finance and a Managing Director at Credit Suisse, based in New York. Previously, Jeff was the Global Head of Global Credit Products, Global Head of Leverage Finance, and Head of US Loan Capital Markets at Credit Suisse. Jeff joined Credit Suisse in November 2000 in Los Angeles when the bank merged with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ). Prior to DLJ, he was with Bankers Trust (later Deutsche Bank) in Los Angeles, where he was a Vice President in the Leveraged Finance Group. Earlier in his career, Jeff was a Manager of Strategic Planning for the Walt Disney Company and a Group Manager of Corporate Development and Strategic Planning for PepsiCo. Jeff holds an M.B.A. in Finance and B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago. From 2010 to 2014, he served on the Visiting Committee for the College at the University of Chicago. He is on the Board of Starfish Connection, a mentoring and enrichment program, non-profit, supporting promising students from underserved families in Connecticut.
