Mr. Sokoloff is a Managing Partner of Leonard Green & Partners, L.P. (“LGP”). LGP is a leading private equity investment firm based in Los Angeles with more than $50 billion of assets under management. The firm partners with experienced management teams, and often with founders, to invest in market-leading companies. Mr. Sokoloff joined LGP in 1990. Prior to LGP, he was a Managing Director in corporate finance at Drexel and a Principal of Hambrecht & Quist Capital Management LLC. He began his career with Woodman, Kirkpatrick & Gilbreath, and Merrill Lynch & Co. Mr. Sokoloff presently serves on the Board of Directors of Advantage Solutions, The Container Store, Jetro Cash & Carry, JOANN Inc., Mariner Wealth Advisors, Shake Shack, and Union Square Hospitality Group. Mr. Sokoloff earned a B.A. in Political Economy and History from Williams College.
