Josh Cohen, CFA, is a Managing Director for PGIM DC Solutions. Mr. Cohen leads the team’s efforts to bring defined contribution insights and solutions to PGIM’s clients and the market. Prior to joining PGIM, Mr. Cohen was the Head of Defined Contribution for Russell Investments where he was responsible for the leadership, strategic direction, and growth of their U.S. Defined Contribution (DC) asset management business across the institutional and intermediary channels. Prior to this, Mr. Cohen spent nine years at Hewitt Associates. Highly regarded throughout the industry and a recognized DC thought leader, Mr. Cohen served as a member of the Department of Labor’s ERISA Advisory Council (2013-2015) on policies and regulations affecting employee benefit plans governed by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act. Mr. Cohen is the host of PGIM’s podcast series The Accidental Plan Sponsor. He is a member of the board of trustees and chair of the executive committee for the Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI), and a current member and prior chair of the Retirement Research Board of the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA). Mr. Cohen earned his BA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
