Global Head of Sustainability and Impact for Asset Management, The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc

Margaret is the Global Head of Sustainability and Impact for Goldman Sachs Asset Management, leading the development and oversight of the firm’s strategy for delivering commercial solutions and leading advisory services to clients related to inclusive growth and climate transition. She is also the Chairwoman of the Urban Investment Group and Co-Chair of the Asset Management Sustainability Council. Margaret also serves on the Board of Advisors of Launch With GS, GS’ $500 million commitment to invest in companies and investment managers with diverse leadership, and One Million Black Women, GS’ $10 billion commitment to narrow opportunity gaps for Black women over the next decade. Margaret serves on the boards of several organizations including Center for an Urban Future, the National Portrait Gallery, Core Innovation Capital, Low Income Investment Fund, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, New York Public Radio, and The Africa Center. Margaret earned a BA in Computer Science from Harvard College in 2003.
