Melissa Tomkiel

President and General Counsel, Blade Urban Air Mobility

Melissa Tomkiel is the President and General Counsel of Blade Urban Air Mobility, Inc. (NASDAQ: BLDE) (“Blade”), a technology-powered, global urban air mobility platform committed to reducing travel friction by enabling cost-effective air transportation alternatives to some of the most congested ground routes in the U.S. and abroad. Ms. Tomkiel began her career at Blade in 2015 as its President of Fixed Wing Operations and General Counsel. In addition to Blade, Ms. Tomkiel is a founding director of the Alliance for Quiet Electric Aviation (AQEA), whose mission is to accelerate the transition to quiet, zero-emission, electric aircraft. Prior to Blade, Ms. Tomkiel was President of LIMA NY Corp., the largest commuter air carrier of amphibious seaplanes and rotorcraft in the Northeast. From 2006 to 2010, Ms. Tomkiel was a corporate attorney in the New York office of Pryor Cashman.
