Sabrina McCormick, MA, Ph.D., is a scholar, filmmaker, public health advisor, and social entrepreneur dedicated to transforming the way we address environmental health and climate change. Dr. McCormick spans the worlds of science and filmmaking, both serving on the Nobel Prize-winning Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and as a producer on Emmy Award-winning climate television. She has acted as advisor to the Environmental Protection Agency, United States Congress, the Department of State, and served on President Obama’s climate committees run by the Office of Science & Technology Policy. She is currently a Member of the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine Climate Communication Initiative, is the founding CEO of PandemicProof Productions, supporting approximately half a billion dollars worth of film production during the COVID crisis, and of Aclara Advanced Materials, currently launching a revolutionary personal protective mask. She is also co-founder of Resilience Entertainment, an initiative to produce climate content. Dr. McCormick is Associate Professor in the Environmental and Occupational Health Department in the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University and Senior Fellow at the Wharton Risk and Decision Center.
