As an experienced health innovator with 15+ years leading cross-functional teams, Susann is a valued executive and top contributor to IBM’s 25+ years of patent leadership. In her technical career path, Susann has performed as a software engineer, consultant, architect, researcher, and executive. She was the IBM Global Technical Lead for accessibility enablement, responsible for the enterprise-wide strategy and implementation mechanism for accessibility tooling, education, consulting, and compliance to emerging accessibility standards. She transitioned into the role of the IBM Global Leader in Healthy Aging. Susann led worldwide research teams, built strong partnerships with anchor clients, and established the IBM UCSD Center for Healthy Aging.
