Aditi Javeri Gokhale

Chief Strategy Officer, President of Retail Investments and Head of Institutional Investments, Northwestern Mutual

Aditi Javeri Gokhale holds executive accountabilities for the company’s strategy to drive growth, competitiveness, and relevance. In addition, she leads teams that oversee more than $570 billion in company and client assets, including over $325 billion in the institutional investment portfolio and nearly $245 billion in retail client assets. In addition, she is accountable for NM Future Ventures (the company’s venture investing arm) along with digital disruptor, Wyshbox. She joined Northwestern Mutual in 2016, as chief marketing officer of LearnVest, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Northwestern Mutual, and was named the first-ever Chief Marketing Officer of Northwestern Mutual in 2017. In her most recent role as chief commercial officer, her responsibilities included the company’s marketing and strategic communications where she led teams that focused on differentiating the Northwestern Mutual brand and its products in the marketplace. Prior to joining Northwestern Mutual, Gokhale held executive roles at Nutrisystem, Travelocity, American Express, and Shutterstock. Gokhale is a member of the Fast Company Impact Council and was recently appointed to the board of Froedtert Health - the largest Wisconsin-based integrated health care system. She is also a member of Milken Institute’s Executive Circle. Gokhale received her MBA in management from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She also received her Bachelor of Science degree from MIT, majoring in management science and minoring in economics.
