Alex Silver

Founder, EB Research Partnership; Partner, P2 Capital Partners

Alexander Silver is the Founder and Chairman of the EB Research Partnership, the largest global medical research non-profit dedicated to treating and curing Epidermolysis Bullosa. Alex is also a Founding Partner of P2 Capital, a $2B+ private investment firm based in New York City. Prior to P2 Capital, Alex held positions at Soros Private Equity Partners, Karsch Capital Management, and Lazard Freres. Alex serves on the boards of Blackhawk Network Holdings and Achievers. In addition, he serves as a board member for Columbia Children’s Board and on FasterCure’s Changemakers Council. Previously, Alex served on the Advisory Council of National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases. Alex holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he received a Little Family Fellowship. He also holds a BA in political science from Brown University, where he graduated magna cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
