Alexandra (Alie) PrunerSenior Advisor and Corporate Board MemberAlexandra Pruner serves as an independent director on the public company Boards of NRG Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NRG) and Plains All American (NASDAQ: PAA & PAGP). She is also the Chair of the Board of Malta Inc., a long duration energy storage company, spun out of Google X, and as the Chair of Encino Acquisition Partners, a CPPIB-backed E&P company. A founding partner of the energy investment bank Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co., Ms. Pruner also serves as a Senior Advisor to that investment bank and its parent, Perella Weinberg Partners, following her retirement from the combined firm in 2018 where she served as the CFO and on the Executive Committee. Ms. Pruner's operating experience also includes having served as Publisher of the industry technical journal World Oil, as well as 10 years at operating companies, including both an upstream natural gas firm (Houston Exploration) and midstream/gas utility (NUI Corporation), where she headed investor relations and financing activities. Early in her career, Ms. Pruner also spent six years at Shearson Lehman Brothers in NYC. Active in community and industry affairs, Ms. Pruner was the founder of the Women's Global Leadership Conference in Energy, now in its 17th year, and is a frequent speaker on ESG-related topics, including the energy transformation and inclusiveness. Ms. Pruner serves on the Board of the Houston Zoo and the Texas Medical Center and also as the President of the Brown University Advisory Council for the Economics Department (where she earned her BA).
