As President of Traveloka, Caesar Indra is responsible for fostering collaboration with stakeholders in the ecosystem, including businesses of all sizes and government affairs. Prior to his appointment as President, he had held numerous roles, from product management, business development, commercial strategy, customer care, to leading Transport, Traveloka’s largest business unit. Caesar provided leadership which led to Transport’s 20x top-line growth, scaling and localizing customer care technology and operations to serve 7 different markets in the span of only 5 years. Before Traveloka, Caesar was a strategy and management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group and a software engineer in a Seattle-based B2B tech startup that was subsequently acquired by Nuance Communications, which is now part of Microsoft. Having experienced living in both emerging and largest economies, he has become a strong believer that technology can make the world a better place to live. Caesar is a member of the Global Future Council, part of the World Economic Forum’s network, the leading interdisciplinary knowledge network dedicated to promoting innovative thinking on the future. Caesar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington, and an MBA degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). During his spare time, he enjoys sports, especially running and tennis to maintain his strength and agility.
