Mr. Stracke is a managing director in the Newport Beach office, global head of the credit research group, and co-head of PIMCO's BRAVO opportunistic private strategies complex. The credit research group covers all levels of the debt capital structure for targeted industries, including investment grade and high yield bonds, bank debt and convertibles. Mr. Stracke is also a senior portfolio manager across PIMCO's suite of private credit strategies, investing across mortgage, real estate, specialty financials, corporate special situations, and performing private corporate credit. In addition to his portfolio management responsibilities, he sits on the firm's Executive Committee. He has 22 years of investment experience and holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago. He is also a returned Peace Corps volunteer, having served as an agroforestry extension agent in Mauritania, West Africa.
