Dana T. Wade serves as the Assistant Secretary for Housing and Federal Housing Commissioner at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Nominated for the role by President Trump and confirmed in July 2020 by the Senate, Mrs. Wade oversees the approximately 2,500 employees in HUD’s Office of Housing and the Federal Housing Administration. Wade previously served as General Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Office of Housing and Acting Federal Housing Commissioner from 2017-2018. Prior to returning to HUD, Wade served in a senior leadership role at the Office of Management and Budget.
