Harshal Chaudhari is the Chief Investment Officer at General Electric where he is responsible for oversight of GE’s global pension assets. He joined GE in 2019 and is responsible for building the investment office and leads investment strategy, manager selection, and risk management. Previously, Harshal held several senior roles at IBM including Chief Investment Officer for IBM Retirement Funds, Chief Financial Officer of IBM Analytics Solutions, and IBM Industry Cloud Solutions software divisions as well as several key positions in IBM’s Treasury department. He currently serves on the Investment Committees of Hartford HealthCare and Okabena Investment Services. Harshal holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
