Senior VP of Binance, UNIDO Goodwill Ambassador

Helen HAI is the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Goodwill Ambassador for industrialization in Africa. She is heading the world’s largest Binance Blockchain Charity Foundation with the mandate to use Blockchain for Social Good. She is also the CEO of Binance Fiat exchange business, NFT, and Fan token, she is responsible for Binance in Europe, UK, and Africa region. She was the Founder of the Made in Africa Initiative which advised African heads of state for industrialization and investment promotion. Ambassador Hai was Co-Founder of C&H Garments, which was a pioneer Pan-Africa export-oriented garments manufacturer. Ambassador Hai was trained as an actuary in the United Kingdom with near 20 years of international experience in FTSE100 companies. She holds a BA in actuarial science and MSc in actuarial management from CASS Business School in London and EMBA from INSEAD and Tsinghua University. She had executive education at both Harvard University and UC Berkeley. Ambassador Hai was named a 2015 Young Global Leader by World Economic Forum, and she is co-chair of the Global Future Council on the Future of Consumption for World Economics Forum. She received the 2015 African Business Icon Award and was awarded as Officer of the National Order of Lion of Senegal in 2016. Ambassador Hai was named 2017 Wu Fellow by UC Berkeley, Global Visionary by UBS, and 2018 Aspen Fellow by Aspen Institute. She was also on the “Ones to Watch” list for Bloomberg’s 50 people who shaped 2018 in unexpected ways. She received the 'INSEAD Alumni Force for Good Award' in 2019.
